Jeff Bezos put 12 billion dollars into a new company called Prometheus. He wants to build an artificial general engineer.

Physical engineering is slow. A new jet engine takes ten years to develop. Software is fast. Code takes minutes to test.

Bezos calls this the dream-build loop.

In software, this loop happens in seconds. In physical engineering, it takes months. Parts take weeks to make. Testing takes years.

Prometheus wants to make this loop ten times faster.

The AI predicts how materials behave. It checks stress and heat. This is 100 to 1000 times faster than old ways.

Accuracy is the most important part. A small error in a jet engine causes a crash.

Bezos likes infrastructure. He built AWS for the cloud. He builds rockets at Blue Origin. Now he builds the tools to design them.

The most value for AI is not in fast loops. It is in the slowest loops.
