I planned to write a technical deep dive. Instead, I have one question.

Is this real?

I spent time learning how hard it is to keep an AI coding agent on task. It takes immense rigor. Most agents fail without constant human guidance.

Now, companies claim we have autonomous agents ready to work alone. I see new AI ads every day. They make big promises.

I find it hard to take them seriously.

The industry misses a key point. You expect AI to find the goal while you stop providing direction.

True autonomy requires more than just hype.
