Most content systems fail after the draft. They fail when the wrong version reaches the user.
Speed is not the goal. The goal is a workflow you trust.
If you build publishing tools, this is a product problem. A smooth article is a failure if it is the wrong version.
The hard part is system design. You must preserve truth. You must verify results match your intent.
Build your system with these five layers:
- Grounding
- Topic planning
- Canonical generation
- Platform variant generation
- Acceptance verification
Grounding stops the AI from making things up. It keeps content factual.
Keep one canonical version. This version holds the deepest explanation. Use it to create variants for Medium or Substack.
Do not treat verification as a chore. Define success early.
- A blog post succeeds only if the page loads.
- A Medium post succeeds only if it links back.
A dashboard saying "done" means nothing if the page is broken.
The draft is not the product. The workflow is the product. Focus on orchestration.
