Your agent should be an advisor first. It follows a safe path:

• Make a plan.
• Suggest tests.
• Write a PR summary.

Limits make agents safe. Do not give full shell access. Give specific tools.

Add human gates. The agent proposes a change. You approve it. This prevents mistakes in billing or auth files.

Log every event. This turns a mystery into a clear workflow.

Start small. Log everything. Build a workflow executor.

Avoid autonomy. Focus on utility. A useful agent saves time without taking risks.
