I started a repository called lazy-scripts. It held simple tools to clean Python files. It made test folders. It was my personal toolbox.
Then I used it to test AI. I stopped using AI as a simple chat. I wanted a real workflow.
I tried plugins. I did not like the code. I tried local AI for privacy and cost. Something was still missing.
I learned a lesson. The process matters more than the model. I used Docker sandboxes. This keeps AI away from my main system.
Now I follow a strict path:
- Start with a clean repo.
- Use AI to create a PRD.
- Create small issues.
- Implement one slice at a time.
- Review every line.
I avoid vibe coding. Huge changes hide the architecture. Small steps keep you in control.
The code must belong to you.
Automate your daily life with tiny scripts. This teaches you what to automate. It shows you what to keep.
