Mamata Banerjee faces a new legal problem.

Dr. Baidyanath Ghosh Dastidar filed a lawsuit against the TMC leader and others. He is the son of TMC MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar.

The dispute started because of recent comments made by party leaders. These leaders claimed he asked for a political ticket for the Barasat assembly seat.

The son wants an apology for these claims.

This situation adds pressure to the TMC leadership.
