Indian stock markets started with a massive jump on June 15, 2026.

The Sensex rose 1,197 points. This is a 1.58 per cent increase. It opened at 76,725.27.

The Nifty gained 361 points. It moved toward the 24,000 level.

• A peace deal between the US and Iran improved global investor mood.
• Brent crude oil prices fell below 84 USD per barrel.

Lower oil prices help the Indian economy. This news pushed investors to buy more stocks.
