Two months ago, my manager asked for parcel delivery. I said yes. I had no idea how to start.
Week one was hard. I tried to make the customer page perfect. It broke. I deleted it twice. I stopped trying to be perfect. I wrote working code.
Week three was the rider map. I needed a route line. I failed for days. Sunday at 2 a.m., the line appeared. I did not quit.
Week five was real-time tracking. I fixed issues with slow networks and GPS loss. I used color badges for status:
- Green for delivered
- Red for cancelled
- Blue for in transit
- Orange for pending
Weeks six through eight were for the admin panel. A user finally used the app. The tracking worked from start to finish.
I built 11 pages and 3 API services. The lesson is simple. You do not need a full plan to start.
- Write bad code.
- Learn from errors.
- Rewrite it better.
Do not give up.
