I work as a web developer. Fifteen years ago, I drew a side project. I lacked the tools to build it.

The idea needed custom physical objects. In 2010, I needed a CNC machine. These cost over 10,000 euros. They make too much noise for a home. I put the idea in a folder.

Engineers call this waiting on tooling.

The blockers vanished in the last few years.

I am starting the build now. I will share the logs here. I want your feedback on my technical choices.

Do you have a project file like this? Is an idea waiting for the right price?
