One year ago, I knew nothing about coding. I started with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I wanted to know how the web works.
I moved to React. I then learned Next.js. These tools helped me build full-stack apps.
I built lynvistasafaris.com for a client. This project taught me more than any tutorial. I built these features:
- M-Pesa and Paystack payments.
- MySQL database with Drizzle ORM.
- Multi-currency pricing for GBP.
I spent many nights fixing bugs. You might think syntax is the main skill. It is not. The real skill is breaking down problems. You must learn to debug and keep moving.
I have 402 GitHub contributions now. I am still at the start. Now I focus on new projects and better architecture.
