I spoke at the St. Louis Unix Users Group. I talked about Large Language Models on Linux. I showed how these models work. I showed how to run them on your Linux machine.
I shared two demos.
- A Python notebook using n-grams. It showed why n-grams fail. This explains why we use transformers.
- A project using ElasticSearch. It allows natural language search for databases.
You will find the code on GitHub.
