AI security is not about slogans. Anthropic released a report on AI cyber threats. They studied 832 banned accounts.

AI does not make attackers unstoppable. It makes attacks cheap. It makes them fast.

This is attack compression. AI reduces the skill you need to break into a system.

67.3% of banned accounts used AI to write malware. The risk shifted to what happens after the breach. Medium or high risk accounts rose from 33% to 56%.

Defenders focus on phishing emails. AI helps attackers after they are already inside. It helps them move through your network.

Attackers do not need a perfect AI bot. Partial automation is enough. It shortens the time between a bug and an attack.

Expect a pipeline of small steps. Not one super agent. This turns security into a runtime problem.

You need a practical response.

AI changes the economics of abuse. Do not trust headlines. Look at your operations.

The future is already here.
