Hackers are running a global campaign called FortiBleed.

They target internet-facing Fortinet devices. Their goal is to steal administrative and user credentials.

Once attackers get these logins, they reuse them to enter your network without permission.

How it works:

• Attackers find vulnerable FortiGate devices.
• They extract valid authentication data.
• They use these credentials to gain unauthorized access.

How to protect your network:

• Check your Fortinet appliances for vulnerabilities.
• Update your devices to the latest security patches.
• Monitor your logs for suspicious login activity.
• Use multi-factor authentication for all administrative accounts.
