I worked as a software engineer for 12 years.
I watched AI improve fast. Tasks that took hours now take minutes. Problems that needed deep research now need a simple prompt.
People used to call AI a junior developer. That is not true anymore. AI makes mistakes. But it also finds solutions I never thought of. It solves problems faster than I can.
AI changed how I think about my work.
I thought I loved writing code. I spent years coding at work and on side projects. Then I used AI in my daily routine.
In the last month, I built more projects than I usually build in a year. Ideas in my notes became real products.
That is when I learned the truth.
I do not love writing code. I love building things.
I love turning an idea into a real product. I love solving problems. Code was just a tool. Now, AI is another tool.
AI helps me experiment faster. It helps me revisit old ideas. It even helps me explore animation and content creation.
This change affects everyone. AI changes design, writing, marketing, and video production.
This is good news for beginners.
Millions of people have great ideas. They did not study computer science. They do not have years of experience. Before AI, their ideas stayed in notebooks. Now, they can build them.
Some products will fail. Some will break. But people can turn ideas into reality without years of technical study.
Expertise still matters. AI removes the barriers to starting. It does not remove the barriers to excellence.
Building is easier. Making something great still requires skill and hard work.
I feel excited and impressed. I also feel a little worried. But I am optimistic.
AI helps people create and experiment. It helps people build the ideas they have held for years. I am happy to be part of that future.
