𝗥𝗕𝗜 𝗧𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝘀 𝟱𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗣𝗖 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴
The Reserve Bank of India announced a two-day Variable Rate Repo auction. The central bank will offer Rs 50,000 crore to manage short-term liquidity.
- The auction will take place on June 3, 2026, between 9:30 am and 10 am
- The reversal of funds will happen on June 5, 2026
- System liquidity stood at Rs 85,411.44 crore on June 1
- This fell from Rs 1.40 lakh crore on May 31
The RBI held a three-day VRR auction on Tuesday. Banks bid for Rs 17,445 crore against the Rs 75,000 crore offer. The RBI accepted all bids and injected Rs 17,445 crore into the system. The cut-off and weighted average rate stood at 5.26 percent.
