𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗵𝗶 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝟵𝟭𝟲 𝗜𝗻 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲
Delhi Police finished a massive crackdown on cybercrime. This mission is called Operation CyHawk 5.0.
The police arrested 916 people. These individuals participated in various online frauds. The investigation exposed fraud worth 700 crore rupees.
Details of the operation:
- The raids happened on June 16 and 17.
- Police used data collected until May 31.
- Over 715 teams took part.
- More than 2,500 police officers joined the mission.
- 15 cyber police stations helped with the arrests.
Joint Commissioner Rajneesh Gupta led the announcement. This operation shows the scale of online crime in the city.
