𝗦𝗶𝗸𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝘂𝗿𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗮

Gunmen killed a Sikh caretaker couple inside a gurdwara in Pakistan on Wednesday.

The attack happened in the Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The victims were Jagannath and his wife, Asma Wanti.

Details from the police report:

• Attackers entered the gurdwara.
• They opened fire on the couple.
• Both victims died at the scene.
• The gunmen fled immediately.

Religious and political leaders expressed anger over this violence. The Akal Takht and the BJP issued statements condemning the incident.

The gurdwara is located in Babu Mohallah, about 60 kilometres from Peshawar. Police are looking for the attackers.
