A Russian couple has faced legal consequences in New York City after scaling the iconic Empire State Building to stage a high-altitude marriage proposal. Ivan Beerkus, 32, and Angela Nikolau, 33, scaled the 1,454-foot (443m) skyscraper to reach the tip of its needle.
