Indian stock markets ended the session in the green today. Global sentiment improved after US-Iran talks ended on a positive note.

The BSE Sensex rose 291.17 points. It settled at 77,094.07. During the day, the index hit a high of 77,325.56 and a low of 77,008.02.

The NSE Nifty gained 89.80 points. It closed above the 24,100 mark at 24,102.

The broader market followed the main indices:

  • BSE MidCap Select Index rose 0.45 per cent.
  • BSE SmallCap Select Index rose 0.60 per cent.

Tech Mahindra was the top gainer in this session.
