My paper got accepted to Complex Networks 2025 in New York. I present this work in December.
I analyzed my AI chat logs from several years. I used network science to see how knowledge grows.
Chat logs look like lines of text. They hide a deeper structure. I call this a cognitive MRI. It makes your thought patterns visible.
Here is how it works:
- Use chat logs.
- Create networks with user weights.
- Find knowledge groups.
- Spot bridge conversations.
The results show different shapes for different topics:
- Theory (Math, Philosophy): Hub-and-spoke. Core ideas connect to many points.
- Practice (Coding, Tools): Tree-like. Paths go from problem to solution.
I found three types of bridges:
- Concept bridges: Link theory across fields.
- Application bridges: Link theory to practice.
- Meta bridges: Help you think about learning.
This research uses real data. It covers math, CS, and cancer research. It is not synthetic.
I did this work while fighting stage 4 cancer. These networks map my intellectual work under a tight timeline.
I will present this in New York. I will show how AI conversations reveal how you learn.
