𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗤𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁

Thirteen people died in a gas plant explosion in Qatar on Sunday.

The blast happened at the Ras Laffan liquefied natural gas complex. Workers were trying to restart operations at the facility. This plant had been closed since an attack earlier this year.

The victims include Indian and Pakistani nationals. Qatar Energy Minister Saad al-Kaabi confirmed the deaths.

Sixty-six people also suffered injuries in the blast.

The Indian Embassy has issued helpline numbers to assist citizens.
