You see the same patterns everywhere.

I used to think this was a distribution problem. I thought apps needed more visibility. Most platforms use chronological lists, upvotes, or trending sections.

These tools create hype. They do not help with real discovery.

We need to treat web apps as structured tools instead of a series of random launches. We need categories and clear navigation. We need a browsing process that does not rely on luck or viral moments.

A project called Unstore tries this. They focus on how tools are sorted rather than just the tools themselves.

This matters for builders.
