I built a local development agent using .NET 10.
It is a single-file port. It works with Native AOT for fast startup and small footprints.
This agent acts as a senior full-stack engineer. It does more than chat. It interacts with your local environment to solve real tasks.
Key capabilities:
• List directory files and folders • Read project files with smart truncation for large files • Write and create new files or directory branches • Change working directories • Execute terminal commands directly via bash or cmd
How it works:
The agent uses the Albert API to process logic. It decides when to chat and when to use tools. If you ask it to fix a bug, it will inspect your files and run tests to verify the fix.
It follows strict engineering principles:
• It analyzes your project structure first • It uses defensive coding and error handling • It breaks complex goals into small, logical steps • It self-corrects when a command fails
