Turtlemint Fintech ₹883 Crore IPO: Price Band, GMP, and Key Details

Insurtech disruptor Turtlemint Fintech Solutions is set to launch its much-anticipated ₹883 crore Initial Public Offering (IPO) on Friday, June 19. The company, which aims to simplify insurance procurement for both customers and advisors, is seeking to strengthen its technological backbone through this capital infusion.

IPO Structure and Pricing Details

Turtlemint has established a price band of ₹144 to ₹152 per equity share. At the upper limit of this band, the company’s valuation is expected to exceed ₹4,500 crore. The ₹883 crore issue is a combination of a fresh issue worth ₹660.72 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 1.46 crore equity shares totaling approximately ₹221.95 crore.

The allocation for the IPO is strategically divided: 75% is reserved for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), 15% for Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs), and 10% for retail investors. Investors can expect the basis of allotment to be finalized by June 24, with the shares slated to list on the BSE and NSE on June 29.

Current Grey Market Premium (GMP) trends suggest a cautious outlook for the stock's debut. After seeing a premium of 10.53% earlier this week, the GMP has cooled significantly to 1.32%. Based on these unregulated market indicators, the expected listing price is hovering around ₹154 per share, representing a marginal gain over the upper price band of ₹152.

Financial Performance and Growth Trajectory

Turtlemint has demonstrated explosive revenue growth over the last fiscal year. The company reported a revenue of ₹662.7 crore for FY25, a massive jump from the ₹78.6 crore recorded in FY24. However, despite the top-line surge, the company's net loss widened slightly to ₹194.1 crore in FY25, compared to a loss of ₹193.3 crore in the previous year.

The company plans to deploy the proceeds from the fresh issue to scale its operations. Key areas of investment include enhancing cloud and server infrastructure, funding technology and product development teams, and driving marketing initiatives. Additionally, funds will be used for working capital requirements and potential inorganic growth through strategic acquisitions.
