People often use UI and UX for the same thing. They are different. You need both to make a good product.

UX means User Experience. It is how your product works. It focuses on the journey of your user.

UX goals:

UI means User Interface. It is how your product looks. It focuses on the visuals.

UI goals:

Think of a car. UX is how the car drives and feels. UI is the dashboard and the paint. A car needs both to be great.

The process usually follows a path:

A good experience keeps users. A good interface builds your brand. Use both to get better results.
