TDI Infratech to Invest ₹75 Crore in Luxury Ramada Hotel in Panipat

TDI Infratech Ltd has announced a significant expansion into the hospitality sector with a ₹75 crore investment to develop a luxury hotel in Panipat, Haryana. This strategic move aims to enhance the premium offerings within the company's mixed-use development, TDI Connaught Estate.

Strategic Partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts

In a major boost to its hospitality portfolio, TDI Infratech has officially signed an agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to manage the upcoming project. The hotel will operate under the globally recognized 'Ramada by Wyndham' brand. The facility is designed to be a high-end, 53-key hotel, catering to the growing demand for branded luxury accommodations in the region.

The partnership underscores a growing trend where real estate developers are increasingly integrating international hospitality standards into their large-scale mixed-use townships to create self-sustaining ecosystems.

Boosting the Economy of Tier 2 and Tier 3 Markets

The decision to invest in Panipat reflects a broader shift in the Indian economic landscape, where Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are emerging as significant growth engines. According to Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director - Eurasia at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, North India’s smaller markets offer immense potential due to improving infrastructure, rising commercial activities, and a surging demand for quality, branded hospitality services.

By placing a luxury asset in Panipat, TDI Infratech is positioning itself to capture the influx of business travelers and high-net-worth individuals drawn to the evolving economic landscape of Haryana.

Integration within TDI Connaught Estate

The upcoming Ramada hotel is a cornerstone project of the 'TDI Connaught Estate,' a large-scale mixed-use development. Akshay Taneja, Managing Director of TDI Infratech, noted that the investment is a testament to the company's long-term confidence in the local economy. He emphasized that the addition of a branded hotel strengthens the overall ecosystem of the estate, aligning with the firm's vision of providing future-ready, high-quality infrastructure.
