Tech companies want a perfect worker. They want juniors with senior skills.
The list of demands is long.
- Many courses.
- Certifications.
- Side projects.
- Open source work.
- Public presence.
- Perfect English.
You must look excellent all the time. But companies do not invest in you. You spend your day meeting deadlines. You have a life outside work. You need rest.
Job titles are confusing. Junior and Senior mean different things at different firms. Job posts ask for a person who knows everything.
Certificates do not equal skill. Some people have many certificates but fail the basics. Others deliver great work with a simple path.
Companies need to change. Real growth happens on the job. It needs time and resources.
Find a balance. Expectations must match investment. Measure skill by work. Not by a profile.
