In a major relief for India’s energy security, three Indian-flagged crude oil tankers have successfully navigated the high-tension Strait of Hormuz. The successful passage comes on the heels of a tentative agreement aimed at easing conflicts between the United States and Iran, which led to the lifting of a blockade that had previously hampered movement through the strait. While the Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had previously threatened to close the waterway, citing alleged violations of a truce, recent data suggests a stabilization of transit activity.
