You find staffing firms in Chicago or Dallas. You load 150 rows into your CRM. Your client asks a question. Are these local offices? Often, the answer is no.
Google Maps lists are a first pass. These lists are not email databases. They show public profiles. They do not prove a company is ready for outreach.
A search for recruiting agencies returns a mix. You see healthcare staffing, IT recruiters, and career coaches. You also find franchise offices and old listings.
Split your list before the import. Use these steps:
- Check the website. Does it show recruiting services? Is it a local office or a national page?
- Check the phone number. Is it a branch or a headquarters line?
- Check the address. Look for shared offices and duplicates.
Tools like CoreClaw speed up collection. They save time. These tools do not decide if a firm fits your client profile. They do not guarantee emails.
Build a clean table:
- Import
- Review
- Exclude
Public data lowers costs. It does not remove the need for verification. Align your plan with local rules.
