New AI agent identity features create new security problems.

CrowdStrike introduces Continuous Identity for AI Agents. This feature gives AI agents persistent identities. These identities track agents across different tasks.

Persistent identities create a bigger target for attackers.

If a hacker steals an agent identity, they gain a long term foothold. Human session tokens expire. Agent tokens do not. A hacker stays inside your system across many sessions.

The risk grows because of how these tools integrate. These tokens live inside the Falcon platform. If a hacker steals or fakes a token, they gain high trust. They might bypass the very security tools meant to stop them.

Key risks include:

  • Long term access through non-expiring tokens.
  • Attacks that last across many tool uses.
  • High trust levels that hide malicious activity.

You must watch how identity management changes with AI.
