The TMC crisis is growing. Speaker Om Birla is starting a process to decide on the status of the breakaway group.
The Speaker will hear both sides before making a decision. He will listen to the rebel MPs. He will also listen to the faction led by Mamata Banerjee.
The Speaker's office sent an email to the Mamata Banerjee group. He wants to know their view on this matter.
The decision will determine if the rebels act as a separate group in the Lok Sabha.
