SpaceX is buying Anysphere. Anysphere owns Cursor.

This is an acquisition. SpaceX is not just investing money. They are buying the company for $60 billion in stock.

Cursor will move into xAI. This follows the SpaceX and xAI merger from February 2026. The deal should finish in Q3 2026 after regulators approve it.
