WhatsApp is testing two new features for Android users. These updates aim to improve how you use the app.
The first update is a green online indicator. A small green dot will appear on a contact profile photo. This dot shows if a person is active on the app.
You already see this feature on Facebook and Instagram. It helps you see if someone is online before you send a message. You will know if a person is available to chat instantly.
The second update focuses on backup management tools. These tools will help you manage your chats and media more effectively on Android devices.
