One decision changes your life.
I sat in my college auditorium during my 4th semester. My college announced a program at AIT Bangkok, Thailand. I listened. I felt curious.
I felt confused. I waited until the last minute to apply. The application asked for:
- Grades
- Career goals
- Motivation
Next came the test. Some students cheated. I chose honesty. I scored 91%.
Then came the interview. It happened during my semester exams. The heat was 45 degrees Celsius. I felt exhausted. I felt stressed.
The interviewers asked about my goals. I spoke my truth. I did not act overconfident.
They offered me the 15k package. I said yes.
The process was hard. I balanced exams, travel, and documents. A friend helped me with the payment.
This journey taught me three things:
- Honesty matters.
- Opportunities require courage.
- Growth starts when comfort ends.
This is Part 1. Next, I will share my passport story.
