In a recent regulatory filing, Arvind SmartSpaces Ltd confirmed that it has entered into a joint development agreement with a landowner to launch a horizontal residential project. The development is strategically located on the Kerala-Nalsarovar Road in South Ahmedabad, an area seeing increasing interest from residential buyers.

While the company has opted not to disclose the identity of the landowner, the financial scale of the project is significant. The firm estimates that this new venture will generate an approximate top-line revenue of ₹180 crore. This move underscores the company's intent to deepen its footprint within its core market of Gujarat.

Strengthening a Diverse Real Estate Portfolio

Since its inception in 2008, Arvind SmartSpaces has established itself as a formidable player in the Indian real estate sector. The company currently manages an expansive portfolio encompassing 100.1 million square feet of real estate development.

Beyond its strong presence in Ahmedabad, the developer has successfully scaled its operations across several high-growth Indian cities, including Gandhinagar, Baroda, Bengaluru, Pune, and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). The new Ahmedabad project leverages this existing expertise to tap into the growing demand for organized residential housing.

Despite the optimistic outlook for the new Ahmedabad project, the company has recently faced some headwinds in its financial performance. According to recent fiscal data, Arvind SmartSpaces saw a dip in its profitability during the 2025-26 fiscal year.
