This surge is largely attributed to IFCI’s strategic holding; the company owns a 52.86% stake in the Stock Holding Corporation of India (SHCIL), which in turn holds a 4.4% stake in the NSE as of the December quarter.

The order is designated for supplying equipment for the BharatNet Phase-3 project. This is a significant boost for the company, following an earlier contract of ₹2,167.65 crore awarded by RVNL in January for telecom projects in the Uttar Pradesh (East) and Uttar Pradesh (West) circles.

Institutional Interest in Corona Remedies and Leadership at GIC Re

In a significant block deal, Sepia Investments sold shares worth approximately ₹749 crore in Corona Remedies. The stake was acquired by a group of high-profile institutional investors, including HDFC Mutual Fund, Aberdeen Asset Management entities, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
