Information we collect

• Newsletter subscriptions. When you subscribe we store the email address you provide and the topics you select, so we can send the daily briefs you asked for. We use double opt-in — no email is sent until you confirm.
• Ask GyaanSetu assistant. Questions you type into the AI assistant are sent to our servers (and the AI model that generates answers) to produce a response with sources. Do not include sensitive personal information in your questions.
• Cookies & local storage. We use a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage to remember your language preference (gs_locale), avoid repeating an auto-redirect (gs_redirected), and store your light/dark theme. These are required for the site to work and are not used for advertising.
• Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use client-side state such as cookies or fingerprinting to measure traffic.
• Anti-spam. The newsletter form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which helps us tell humans from bots without tracking you across sites.

Advertising

We may display advertising, including Google AdSense, in the future. When we do, Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads. You can learn more and manage your choices at Google’s Advertising page. For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we will request consent through a certified consent management platform before serving personalized ads. This section will be updated when ad serving is enabled.

How we use your data

• To send the newsletter briefs you subscribed to.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.
• To answer questions you send us.

We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention

We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can manage topics anytime from the newsletter page.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email contact@gyaansetu.com and we will respond promptly.

Children

GyaanSetu is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
