After making its debut on Monday at Rs 41.80 per share, Vedanta Power faced immediate downward pressure, losing 2% on its first day and another 2% on Tuesday. However, Wednesday's 4% jump has allowed the stock to cross its initial listing price, signaling renewed investor confidence. As of the latest trading session, the company’s market capitalization has climbed to over Rs 16,126 crore.
The stock was initially placed in the Trade-to-Trade (T2T) segment, a regulatory mechanism where every transaction requires compulsory delivery, often seen during the initial phases of new listings to ensure market stability.
