TDI Infratech to Invest ₹75 Crore in Luxury Ramada Hotel in Panipat

Real estate major TDI Infratech Ltd has announced a significant expansion into the hospitality sector with a ₹75 crore investment to develop a luxury hotel in Panipat, Haryana. This strategic move aims to bolster the premium infrastructure within the company's mixed-use development, TDI Connaught Estate.

Strategic Partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts

In a major boost to its asset portfolio, TDI Infratech has signed a management agreement with the global hospitality giant, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. The upcoming property will operate under the renowned 'Ramada' brand, bringing international hospitality standards to the Panipat region.

The project is designed as a 53-key hotel, focusing on delivering high-quality service to both business and leisure travelers. By partnering with Wyndham, TDI Infratech is positioning itself to tap into the growing demand for branded luxury stays in North India.

Strengthening the TDI Connaught Estate Ecosystem

The new hotel is a cornerstone of the company’s ongoing mixed-use project, 'TDI Connaught Estate'. The development is intended to create a self-sustaining ecosystem that integrates residential, commercial, and hospitality offerings.

Akshay Taneja, Managing Director of TDI Infratech, emphasized that this investment is a testament to the firm's long-term confidence in Panipat's economic trajectory. According to Taneja, the addition of Ramada by Wyndham is central to their vision of providing future-ready, high-quality infrastructure that meets the evolving needs of the local and visiting population.

Tapping into Tier 2 and Tier 3 Market Growth

The decision to invest in Panipat highlights a broader trend in the Indian economy: the rapid rise of Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. These markets are witnessing a surge in commercial activity and improved infrastructure, making them ripe for branded hospitality investments.

Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director - Eurasia at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, noted that North India's smaller urban centers present strong growth opportunities. The combination of rising commercial hubs and an increasing demand for quality lodging makes Panipat an ideal location for this ₹75 crore venture.
