AI hallucination is not a bug. It is how your brain works.
- Look at a dark wall. You see faces.
- Stand in the woods. Shadows look like people.
- Your brain guesses first. It checks later.
Perception is a guess with confidence.
AI fills in missing facts. We call this a failure. Your brain fills in missing words. You call this understanding. Both use patterns. Both run on compressed data.
People hate AI hallucinations. They hate the confidence. AI speaks plainly when wrong. You do this too. You tell stories about your life with a flat tone. You are often wrong about why a deal failed.
Stop asking why AI hallucinations happen. Ask what makes a thought true. Truth survives when another person disagrees.
AI models hallucinate. They lack friends to correct them.
