Jio's sheer scale provides a significant cushion for growth. The company currently boasts over 53 crore mobile subscribers and more than 1.14 crore Jio Fibre users. For investors, the most compelling metric is the Average Revenue Per User (ARPU). Because Jio has already completed the heavy capital expenditure required for laying fiber and building towers, the focus can now shift to value-added services.

The math is simple yet powerful: even a modest ₹10 increase in ARPU across its massive user base could translate into an estimated ₹6,000 crore in incremental annual net profit. With an expected valuation in the range of $125–$130 billion and a potential fundraise target of $4 billion, the IPO is positioned to be one of the largest in the sector.

Satellite Broadband and the Future of Connectivity

Beyond terrestrial networks, Jio is aggressively targeting the low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite segment. This satellite broadband initiative is designed to bridge the connectivity gap in remote areas and compete on a global scale.
