𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱

Objects store data in key-value pairs. You need to know how to create and manage them.

Ways to create objects:

1. Object Literal Use curly braces to define data directly. let user = { name: "Ezhil", age: 23 };

2. Object Constructor Use the new keyword. let user = new Object(); user.name = "Ezhil";

Common operations:

• Accessing data Use dot notation to read a value. console.log(user.name);

• Modifying data Assign a new value to an existing key. user.age = 24;

• Adding data Assign a value to a new key. user.job = "Developer";

• Removing data Use the delete keyword. delete user.age;

• Merging objects Combine two objects using the spread operator. const combined = { ...obj1, ...obj2 };

You also use Object.assign() to merge objects into a target object.

• Checking size Use Object.keys() to find the number of properties. const size = Object.keys(user).length;
