𝗜 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝘆

I grew up hearing one phrase every day.

People told me what to think. They told me how to act. I stayed quiet to please them.

Last night I changed that. I posted my truth on DEV.

The reactions surprised me. One person wrote: "You are not alone, we are all with you." Another said: "Yes we are here for you."

I realized something important.

People judge others regardless of what you do. They find reasons to be unhappy.

If people will judge you anyway, stop living in fear. Your voice matters more than their opinions.

Speak your truth.
