Why do they do this? Readers prefer quick summaries. Google and WhatsApp love short text. AI is cheap and fast.

This creates problems. Most readers stop after the summary. They skip the real reporting. AI summarizes based on patterns. It misses nuance. It changes the meaning of the story.

Newsrooms save money. They stop hiring junior reporters. Young journalists lose a way to learn. Accuracy drops. AI makes subtle mistakes.

You need to be careful.

AI should help reporters. It should not replace them. Transparency is key.
