𝗠𝘆 𝗔𝗜𝗧 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗸 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
A briefing session in my 4th semester changed my life. It was about the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok.
I applied at the last minute. I felt unsure. I wondered if it was worth it. I filled the form.
I took a test in the Digital Learning Centre. Some students cheated. I stayed honest. I scored 91%.
The interview happened during my semester exams. The temperature was 45 degrees Celsius. I traveled from Prayagraj to Naini in the heat. I was tired.
The faculty asked about my goals and mindset. I answered honestly. They offered me the 15K package. I said yes.
Paying the fees was hard. I did not have a cheque book. My friend Aniket helped me. I balanced exams and paperwork.
You find growth when you leave your comfort zone. This process taught me three things:
- Honesty matters.
- Opportunities require courage.
- Growth starts when comfort ends.
Part 2 covers my passport journey.
