Most people tell you to code 8 hours every day. They tell you to read documentation only. I tried those rules. I burned out in one week.
I stopped following the standard advice. I started three simple habits instead.
I talk to my code. I treat my code like a person. This helps me find logic errors.
I copy and paste on purpose. I do not rewrite everything from scratch. This saves time.
I stop when I am 80% done. I leave a small task for the next day. This makes starting easier.
New coders should ignore the pressure to work constantly. Focus on what works for your brain.
What is one simple habit that works for you?
