I run AI agents all day and night. Here is what I learned.
Better prompts stop hallucinations. If you give clear instructions, the agent stays on track. Bad prompts lead to errors.
You must build fallbacks. Systems fail. You need a backup plan for when an agent gets stuck or fails a task.
Agents are not fully autonomous yet. They act like they are independent. In reality, they still need human oversight to work well.
Reliability comes from constraints. Give your agents strict boundaries. This prevents them from wandering off topic.
Monitoring is mandatory. You cannot set them and forget them. Watch their outputs to catch mistakes early.
