I run AI agents all day and night. Here is what I learned.

  • Better prompts stop hallucinations. If you give clear instructions, the agent stays on track. Bad prompts lead to errors.

  • You must build fallbacks. Systems fail. You need a backup plan for when an agent gets stuck or fails a task.

  • Agents are not fully autonomous yet. They act like they are independent. In reality, they still need human oversight to work well.

  • Reliability comes from constraints. Give your agents strict boundaries. This prevents them from wandering off topic.

  • Monitoring is mandatory. You cannot set them and forget them. Watch their outputs to catch mistakes early.
