TDI Infratech to Invest ₹75 Crore in Luxury Ramada Hotel in Panipat

Real estate major TDI Infratech Ltd has announced a significant foray into the luxury hospitality segment with a ₹75 crore investment in Panipat, Haryana. The upcoming project, managed by the global giant Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, aims to elevate the premium accommodation standards in the region.

A Strategic Boost for TDI Connaught Estate

The proposed luxury hotel is a key component of TDI Infratech’s sprawling mixed-use development, 'TDI Connaught Estate'. By integrating high-end hospitality into their existing real estate ecosystem, the company seeks to create a self-sustaining urban hub that caters to both business and leisure travelers.

The project will feature a 53-key hotel under the renowned 'Ramada by Wyndham' brand. This strategic move is designed to add value to the surrounding residential and commercial assets within the estate, ensuring a holistic lifestyle experience for its occupants and visitors. The hotel is slated to commence operations in the second quarter of 2028.

Tapping into the Tier 2 and Tier 3 Market Potential

The decision to invest heavily in Panipat underscores a broader shift in the Indian hospitality landscape, where Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are emerging as major growth engines. Akshay Taneja, Managing Director of TDI Infratech, noted that this investment is a testament to the company's confidence in Panipat's rapidly evolving economic landscape.

The partnership also highlights the growing demand for branded hospitality in North India. Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director (Eurasia) at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, emphasized that rising commercial activity and improving infrastructure in these smaller urban centers present significant opportunities for global hospitality brands to capture expanding market shares.

Strengthening TDI Infratech’s North Indian Footprint

With this latest venture, TDI Infratech continues to solidify its dominance in the North Indian real estate market. The company brings a proven track record to the table, having successfully delivered more than 100 diverse projects spanning the residential, commercial, and retail sectors.

As Panipat continues to grow as a commercial hub, the introduction of a global brand like Ramada is expected to act as a catalyst for local economic activity, attracting more corporate travelers and high-net-worth individuals to the region. This investment marks a pivotal step in the company's vision of delivering future-ready, high-quality infrastructure that meets international standards.
