TDI Infratech to Invest ₹75 Crore in Ramada Hotel in Panipat, Haryana

TDI Infratech Ltd has announced a significant expansion into the hospitality sector with a planned ₹75 crore investment to develop a luxury hotel in Panipat. This strategic move aims to enhance the premium offerings within its established mixed-use development, TDI Connaught Estate.

Strategic Partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts

In a major boost to its asset portfolio, TDI Infratech has officially signed an agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to manage the upcoming hospitality project. The new property will operate under the globally recognized "Ramada by Wyndham" brand.

The upcoming hotel is designed to be a high-end, 53-key facility, catering to the growing demand for branded luxury stays in the region. This partnership signifies a convergence of TDI's infrastructure expertise and Wyndham's international hospitality standards, aiming to provide a seamless experience for business and leisure travelers alike.

Strengthening the TDI Connaught Estate Ecosystem

The hotel project is an integral part of the company’s larger mixed-use development, 'TDI Connaught Estate'. By integrating luxury hospitality into its real estate ecosystem, TDI Infratech seeks to increase the value proposition of its commercial and residential holdings in the area.

Akshay Taneja, Managing Director of TDI Infratech, emphasized that this investment is a testament to the company's confidence in Panipat's economic trajectory. He noted that the addition of the Ramada brand aligns with their long-term vision of delivering high-quality, future-ready infrastructure that supports local economic growth. The project is currently slated to commence operations in the second quarter of 2028.

Growth Potential in Tier 2 and Tier 3 Markets

The decision to invest in Panipat reflects a broader trend seen across North India, where Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are emerging as significant drivers of economic activity. Improving infrastructure and rising commercial hubs are creating a vacuum for high-quality, branded hospitality services.

Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director - Eurasia at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, highlighted that these markets present strong growth opportunities. The increasing demand for standardized, luxury accommodation in growing industrial and commercial centers makes Panipat an ideal location for such an expansion. With over 100 residential, commercial, and retail projects already delivered across North India, TDI Infratech is well-positioned to capitalize on this shifting economic landscape.
